NamamiGange – Clean Abhiyan
Jaivik Kheti Karyakram is a flagship initiative aimed at promoting organic and sustainable agriculture practices in villages located along the Ganga River basin in Uttar Pradesh.
The program supports farmers in transitioning from chemical-based agriculture to organic cultivation systems, thereby reducing agro-chemical runoff into the river ecosystem. It promotes environmentally sustainable farming practices while improving soil health, biodiversity, and farmer incomes.
Through cluster-based organic farming, capacity building, and certification support, the scheme seeks to create chemical-free agriculture zones along the Ganga belt.
